i have a first rehearsal for a one act play today that's being taped for cable. i'm not crazy about the play--the idea of it is so cliche, which wouldn't be so bad in and of itself, but the ending is just---in a word, "eh". it doesn't really resolve anything or give you any solid explanations. a mother on her deathbed wanting to reconcile with her daughter who can't forgive her for what she feels are wrongs done to her by her mom. but of course the daughter doesn't know the whole story which would explain why the mother did what she did. very lifetime movie channel. but the show i'm working on has now opened and this should be done in a week or so, so i figured why not.
we'll see how it goes.
